原本期待林書豪能在NBA紐約內戰登場的球迷，只能失望收場！籃網總教練艾金生昨天賽前宣告林書豪輪休1場，這個突然的調度，造就籃網終場98比116慘遭尼克修理，不過豪哥針對「甜瓜」安森尼的「招牌球星」說法有所回應。
艾金生昨天豪無預警宣布，林書豪與老將史柯拉輪休、不打紐約內戰，口頭上雖否認跟豪哥遭遇老東家尼克有關，實際上卻在擔心比賽焦點為之轉移，更何況艾金生當年「林來瘋」時期，正是尼克助教之一，沒人比他更清楚真正情況。
不過針對安森尼表示，「信不信由你！林書豪現在是籃網招牌球星。」林書豪昨接受《紐約郵報》訪問，重申他與安森尼之間沒有嫌隙，「我沒聽到那些說詞，也沒人傳簡訊告訴我，老實講，我不認為那有什麼大不了。」
「當我看到安森尼，仍會跟他問好，我從一開始就說過，每次我遇上他或私下跟他對話，他總是對我很好，」林書豪說，「我跟他沒私人恩怨，也沒發生過爭吵或衝突，所以不管他說了什麼，我真的不知道，你們可以直接去問他。」
畢竟林書豪已把眼光放很長遠，「我們可能每場熱身賽都讓兩人輪休，沒有球員願意休息，但我們懂教練做法。我回麥迪遜花園廣場打了很多次，現在對我來說，那只是1場客場比賽！」籃網11月10日將到尼克客場進行新季例行賽。
